Coomera Watersports Cafe sits comfortably along the edge of the lake at Oxenford, making it a natural stop for anyone spending time outdoors in the area. This cafe is less about formal dining and more about casual, relaxed breaks with good coffee and light bites. The outdoor seating spills out with views of the lake, where you can watch an array of activities—from people paddle boarding to sailing boats drifting by and joggers making their rounds.

The vibe here is easy-going and family-friendly, especially in the seating areas that welcome prams and kids with space to move around. It’s the kind of spot you might find yourself lingering in after a walk around the lake or a workout, using the free moment to catch up on emails or just soak in the waterfront scene.

The menu leans into quality beverages, with the iced latte standing out — a refreshing pick on a warm Queensland day. Alongside coffee essentials, there are real fruit smoothies and a range of teas, offering options for those after something light and healthy. For food, the toasties get frequent mentions, particularly the combinations with chicken or sundried tomato and pesto, paired with housemade banana bread that locals seem to appreciate as a quiet indulgence.

Parking is straightforward, making it convenient for locals and visitors to drop in without a fuss. The staff contribute to the atmosphere with genuine friendliness and attentive service, adding to the cafe’s welcoming feel rather than any rush or pretense.

This place suits those who enjoy mid-morning or afternoon pit stops that combine nature watching with a casual coffee fix—parents with young children, walkers, and even solo visitors wanting a calm spot to reset. Early to mid-afternoon on a sunny day captures the best of the light and activity outside, while cooler mornings are perfect for warming up with a tea before heading out onto the lake trails.

Lovely venue for a meal and rest after the lake walk or work out. The venue is very popular. A full menu ranges from toasties to smoothies. The seating area overlooks the lake. Lots of parking. Good place to check emails while waiting for traffic.

You..Have.To! Best toasties on the coast. Doesnt matter which you get - Chicken, sundried tomato & pesto or Sour dough Works Toastie - they're all so delicious! Best banana bread Ive ever had and coffee is pure quality. The loveliest staff, always so friendly and welcoming. Outside seating area is kid-friendly with plenty of room for prams. Great for a treat after a good walk around the lake. One of my top cafe's.
